Carolina Bonetti is a Los Angeles-based actor. A U.S. citizen born abroad in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Carolina grew up in Westchester county, New York as an only child. From an early age she was always organizing her cousins into putting together performances that she would write, direct, style, and perform in. Along with performing for anyone who would watch, she also began taking dance lessons at the age of three and later participated in chorus. Carolina attended school in New York, and was a member of drama, chorus, art club, and dance throughout her scholastic years. Creatively, she divided her time between acting, art and dance. Carolina always pursued her love of the stage in New York City and Westchester County through various community theaters and her high school's dramatic program. Outside of the arts, Carolina played varsity soccer and was a varsity cheerleader. Strongly civic-minded, she received a Rotary International Interact Youth Leadership award in high school. As a New Yorker impacted by the events of 9/11, Carolina joined the US Navy. While serving, she attended Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia). Where she majored in English with a minor in Art History.Carolina moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue a career in professional acting. She immediately began taking on-camera technique and auditioning classes. She took her studies seriously and enrolled to study acting technique with Marjorie Ballentine. Her first professional acting role came shortly after arriving in LA; in the short "Fix" which screened at The International Cannes Film Festival. She continues to strive to improve her craft, and is thrilled to be a member of Raphael Sbarge's Actor's Lab, which provides a community for actors, writers, and artists of all kinds to work their craft.Carolina is greatly moved by causes that are close to her heart, and actively engages in participatory philanthropy. She enjoys volunteering with The Art of Elysium, which brings the arts to terminally ill children in LA and NYC. She is also a voice of advocacy for the state of our oceans, and marine animals. She was honored to host the Red Carpet on behalf of Red Carpet Report TV for Nautica Oceana's annual beach house party; which raises awareness on behalf of the health of the world's oceans.
