Twin Peaks - Season 2, Episode 18: On the Wings of Love
TrailerEpisode 25 of Twin Peaks, 'On the Wings of Love,' originally aired on April 4, 1991, and was directed by Duwayne Dunham. Sheriff Truman gets drugged and almost killed by Jones (Brenda Strong), then he wakes up with a hangover. Chief Gordon Cole (David Lynch) arrives with some new information regarding Windom Earle and also reinstates Cooper as a Special Agent, giving him a brand new gun. Meanwhile, Earle and his minion, Leo, plot to kill whoever wins the Miss Twin Peaks contest. Donna's mom, Eileen Hayward, and Ben Horne discuss their past connection while Audrey and Donna listen in. Audrey then encounters a strange man at the library who claims to be named Prof. Edward Perkins. That night, Andy, Truman, Hawk, and Cooper go spelunking at Owl Cave to discover a strange symbol on the wall. An owl flies around them, causing Andy to swing his axe at the symbol, revealing a hidden object. Later, over drinks at the Great Northern Hotel bar, Cooper notices Annie's scars.Actors: Kyle MacLachlan, Michael Ontkean, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Richard Beymer, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sherilyn Fenn, Warren Frost, Peggy Lipton, James Marshall, Everett McGill, ...»Director: Mark Frost, David LynchCountry: United StatesDuration: 47 minQuality: HDRelease: 1990IMDb: 8.70 CommentsSort By- Newest

Critic Reviews of "Twin Peaks - Season 2"
Film School RejectsMay 19, 2017The character of Annie and the performance by Graham are compositely more innocent and pure than we would ever want Audrey to be, and so heightens the sense of foreboding.
NerdistMay 18, 2017This is easily one of the more delightful episodes of the latter, post-Laura Palmer half of the show.
AV ClubMay 14, 2017Much of this episode doesn't go anywhere either, but that's part of the appeal.
