supernatural AnonymousAfter watching the episode, I can understand why the audience at that time liked Castiel so much that now he is a recurring character when he was supposed to be only a guest character. He is DIFFERENT ... from other angels, Anna's difference from other angels can be attributed to the fact that she stayed human on earth for a period of time. Castiel however has always been in heaven and around all the other angels that lack human emotions. He himself lacks the feelings to understand human emotions, but he still tries to make an effort to understand them and his efforts to protect humanity stems from the fact that he appreciates them and not just because he has orders to. You can see that he tries to apologise on numerous occasions when he is carrying out his orders from heaven as he can see that his actions do hurt people either physically or psychologically.2018-06-05 16:06
