Andrew Williams QuickflixMarch 28, 2014It's hard to shake the idea that Boardwalk Empire should be much, much better and more consistent than it is
David Hinckley New York Daily NewsSeptember 25, 2011Boardwalk Empire loses sight of neither the large nor the small pictures as it moves into season two.
Matthew Gilbert Boston GlobeSeptember 25, 2011Now, with season two, the drama has fully come to life, with moments of savagery, hypocrisy, and bittersweet loyalty that make it a must-see show.
Teresa Lopez TV FanaticJuly 23, 2014The tragic ending to a stellar season was all too fitting, as the series has become a little darker each week.
Kevin Yeoman ScreenRantJuly 21, 2014Season 2 is already shaping up to be every bit the powerhouse hour of television the first season was.
Sean Gandert Paste MagazineJuly 18, 2014Season two's finale feels like it opened things up and has removed a lot of the show's more irritating parts along the way.
Matt Fowler IGN MoviesJuly 16, 2014Beware the "extraneously nice scenes" on Boardwalk, as they usually mean someone's about to get shot in the face.
James Poniewozik TIME MagazineJuly 23, 2014You could say Boardwalk Empire out-Game of Thronesed Game of Thrones.
