Sir Maejor (born May 28th 1988) is an American professional actor and model with albinism, best known for his featured recurring role in season 3 of FX's American Horror Story: Coven as the albino guard/henchman. Sir Maejor has been featured on the covers of Plastiq Magazine and Obvious Magazine. He has been featured in The New School Free Press, South Africa's Kultur Magazine, Trendsetters Magazine, Radical Affairs Magazine, and The Source Magazine's online website.He has always had a passion for entertainment and has a special gift for entertainment and the ability to influence others. He started off as radio personality and label rep, and then he decided to go into the acting and modeling industry as well.Known for trendsetting and his originality, Sir Maejor aims to use his platform to create positive awareness for albinism, a topic that doesn't get much attention.As someone who identifies as an albino, Sir Maejor is one of very few trying to make it in the cutthroat world of acting and modeling. In 2013, Sir Maejor got is his first role when he was casted in DreamWorks' "Need For Speed" as an inmate. Captivated by the set-life, he continued to peruse his career in acting.Sir Maejor knew that in order to gain the full knowledge of the television and film industry, he would have to start at the bottom and work his way up. He was hired as a background performer in "Let's Be Cops" and then later casted in Micheal Bay's "Welcome to Yesterday"It wasn't until Sir Maejor started loving and accepting who he was as a person with albinism that he started branding himself as an albino actor and model on social media sites to obtain the attention of key influential people such as casting directors, producers and writers.Sir Maejor received a personal call from the casting director for FX's American Horror Story asking him to be apart of the show because they loved his unique and distinct look. After some consideration he accepted the role.After his appearance on American Horror Story, Sir Maejor wanted to continue to learn the film industry and perfect his craft. He submitted for background work, where he was booked for six days on VH1's "Single Ladies" and later on Tyler Perry's "Love Thy Neighbor" and "The Haves & Have Nots".Sir Maejor juggles the careers of professional acting and modeling. In 2014, Sir Maejor was asked by two designers to walk in their runway shows during LA Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week, including celebrity eyewear & accessory designer Stevie Boi, who is most known for his one of a kind, stylish, hand crafted sunglasses and leather pants.Sir Maejor of Atlanta, GA was diagnosed with albinism at birth and adopted at the age of two years old. Albinism is a congenital disorder characterized by a deficit in the production in melanin and by the partial or complete absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes.Growing up with albinism was very difficult for Sir Maejor in his childhood as well as in his adult life as he suffered through the stereotypes and was often taunted. I didn't seem too enthusiastic about the call. In fact I was at rehearsals for Atlanta Fashion Week, so I was really sidetracked as well. When [director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon] called me I was thinking it was a joke. They like that because I can play the supernatural characters, the fictional characters... I look like a character, which is a good thing. For me, it's a role. You're acting. Show less «
