The World According to Jeff Goldblum - Season 1

Imagine a half-hour Apartments.com commercial and you have some idea what to expect here. I found it mostly annoying.

Goldblum seems very much in life the talkative eccentric hepcat he is in pictures - it's impossible to tell when he's on script or just telling you what he knows. I would subscribe just to watch more of this.

He is, genuinely or performatively, presenting himself as exactly the person you'd hope or think he is and no matter where he goes, people are excited or bemused to be in the presence of his Jeff Goldblum-ness.

Goldblum's genius is for rendering a child's overwhelming need for attention in a pure, nonirritating form, and there's a theme running through "The World According to Jeff Goldblum" that relates to that.

Delightful docuseries trades on actor's quirky curiosity.

In the context of a Disney+ documentary series? Goldblum's creepy-charming vibe slips ever so slightly toward the creepy.

My only question while watching this series was, why has it taken this long for Goldblum to have his own reality TV show?
