The full truth behind the death of his beloved wife is revealed! Hayase (Ryohei Suzuki) and Fuyuhashi (Ren Nagase) were searching for Ichika (Erika Toda). Using location information, they tracked down her home and finally cornered her, but she managed to escape at the last moment. Fueled by his determination, Fuyuhashi mobilized Kiriya (Ryoka Fujisawa) and the members of 'Shelter' to create his own cordon. Hayase also began to investigate Ichika from a different angle. He visited Hayase Confectionery and then went to see her sister, Ayaka (Yuki Yoda). Just as Hayase was visiting Ayaka, he received a call from Ichika. Hayase hears a certain resolve from Ichika. However, Fuyuhashi felt a strong sense of unease about Hayase's continued independent actions. His goal was supposed to be revenge against Ichika for driving him to murder his wife, Natsumi (Sayaka Yamaguchi), and then Machi (Suzuka Ueno). The misunderstanding becomes irreparable, and the two finally fall out. Isolated, Hayase finally tracks down Ichika's whereabouts through his own investigation. Hayase and Ichika confront each other, but a shocking event occurs. Behind the scenes, Goroku (Yukiya Kitamura) quietly makes his next move. Using Kaieda (Yoshifumi Sakou), he sets up a scheme with the recovered goods worth 10 billion yen. And the person Goroku calls is Ichika. What is his aim? As truth and conspiracy intertwine, each character's motives move into a new phase.
