For All Mankind - Season 2
TrailerSeason two of the space drama picks up a decade later in 1983. It's the height of the Cold War and tensions between the United States and the USSR are at their peak. Ronald Reagan is President and the greater ambitions of science and space exploration are at threat of being squandered as the US and Soviets go head to head to control sites rich in resources on the moon. The Department of Defense has moved into Mission Control, and the militarization of NASA becomes central to several characters' stories: some fight it, some use it as an opportunity to advance their own interests, and some find themselves at the height of a conflict that may lead to nuclear war.Actors: Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Sarah Jones, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Wrenn Schmidt, Meghan Leathers, Noah Harpster, Chris Bauer, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, ...»Director: Allen Coulter, Dennie Gordon, Michael MorrisCountry: United StatesDuration: 60 minQuality: HDRelease: 2021IMDb: 8.10 CommentsSort By- Newest

Critic Reviews of "For All Mankind - Season 2"
AV ClubFebruary 18, 2021Although its imagination occasionally stalls, the second season of For All Mankind eventually comes together to offer a thrilling journey through sci-fi drama.
Rolling StoneFebruary 11, 2021The characters feel more specific and three-dimensional now, which in turn makes the long swaths focusing on interpersonal dynamics more interesting than they were a season ago.
Gadgets360February 18, 2021For All Mankind seems interested in exploring the ugly and bloody legacy of post-World War II USA ... But the messaging on For All Mankind season 2 is a bit muddled, almost as if it's afraid of alienating its primary audience: Americans.
Paste MagazineFebruary 18, 2021The series continues to excel at balancing its sprawling ensemble of characters, all of whom are driven by a dizzying array of motivations, with the precise textural demands of a well-dressed period piece.
TV InsiderFebruary 18, 2021The season starts and ends on a strong note, and by the nail-biting climax... For All Mankind lives up to its thrilling potential.
Deadline Hollywood DailyFebruary 16, 2021It's much more action-packed and emotionally rewarding than its predecessor, and clearly a transition to a much bigger battlefield in an American that is so like -- and so simultaneously unlike -- our own.
