Critic Reviews of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Season 1"
Glenn Garvin Miami HeraldSeptember 17, 2013Staleness is only one of the show's many problems.
David Hinckley New York Daily NewsSeptember 17, 2013Just the facts, Ma'am: Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the funniest and most satisfying new broadcast sitcom of the season.
Verne Gay NewsdaySeptember 16, 2013Easily one of fall's better new comedies, but don't expect to be blown away yet. The pilot offers just a taste of what's to come, which is plenty good enough.
Ed Bark Uncle BarkySeptember 12, 2013Brooklyn Nine-Nine, with its solid supporting cast aiding and abetting Samberg, has a so far/so good first outing that rises above the majority of this season's new fall comedies.
Joanne Ostrow Denver PostSeptember 06, 2013If the quality continues, Emmy-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) will have locked up a hit.
Tom Conroy Media LifeAugust 30, 2013Fortunately, Samberg's charm, talented co-stars and a clever script make us forget we're watching things that could only happen in TV land.
Maureen Ryan Huffington PostSeptember 17, 2013Goodness knows cop shows are ripe for a bit of well-crafted parody, but if we're lucky, these folks will find even more rewarding material in the weirder corners of this precinct.
Katey Rich CinemaBlend.comSeptember 16, 2013Even if Brooklyn Nine-Nine doesn't revolutionize the cop show format, it shakes up the formula enough with its cast of characters to offer something worth watching.
Alan Sepinwall HitFixSeptember 16, 2013This is one of the few new shows that filled me with optimism when I looked into my crystal ball.
