The Lullaby
TrailerChloe is overwhelmed by the birth of her first child. The incessant crying of her baby, the growing sense of guilt and paranoia sends her into depression. With a heightened urge to protect her son, Chloe sees danger in every situation. She starts to hear voices, the humming of a childhood lullaby and sees flashes of a strange entity around her child. Critic Reviews of "The Lullaby"
Los Angeles TimesMarch 01, 2018The veteran director has more than enough chops to keep a doggedly generic premise lively.
Village VoiceFebruary 28, 2018The filmmakers do an effective job at making a clever horror show out of postpartum depression. So it's a shame the movie goes off the deep end in the final act ...
Film ThreatMarch 02, 2018The Lullaby is a movie made up of disparate, but effective moments of cringe-worthy scenes filled with gore and the occasional story point...I was entertained with The Lullaby, no question. I just think that the storyline could have used more polish.
Film PulseMarch 01, 2018There's no emotional punch to The Lullaby, just a dulling gloominess.
StarburstFebruary 28, 2018Steeped in horror tradition and drenched in the red stuff, The Lullaby is a fiendishly nasty bit of babysitting well worth staying in for.
Ozus' World Movie ReviewsFebruary 28, 2018South African psychological horror film with enough creepiness to satisfy fans of the genre.
