Deànré found his love for the arts at an early stage of only 4 years when he stepped on a stage for the first time, ever since his love for entertainment only grew. In 2004 he won the prestigious award of 'Grand Champion Performer of the world' when he took part in the World Championship for Performing Arts in Los Angeles. He kept his dream going through out his school years. In 2013 he entered his professional career as actor when he got a part in a very popular Afrikaans soap opera, Binnelanders, as Emil. In 2014, his final school year he got leads in two Afrikaans films, both directed by Darrell Roodt. 'Seun' his debut film was well received by the public and critics both alike. For this film he won 'Audience Choice best Actor' at the Silwerskermfees. Verskietende Ster also premiered at the Silwerskermfees, a film that won 'Audience Choice best Film'. Despite him missing 3 months of matric he graduates with 4 A's and also the highest Drama mark ever recorded in the IEB-system. In 2015 he worked on a few films, 'Dis koue kos, skat' along side some of South Africa's most renowned actors. There after he did his first international project, 'Baobab Boys', a British short film, that premiered at the Durban International Film Fest. "Mignon 'Mossie' van Wyk" was his next project. A film that reached international screens, competing in the Inter Continental Film Fest. Deànré, in 2016, went back to his first love, the stage, as he was one of the leads in a South African State Theatre production, 'As'. 'Mossie' and 'Verskietende Ster' was also screened at the 'Indie Karoo Film Fest' at this film fest no award for best actor is awarded, Deànré however won a Golden Aloe 'Special Mention-award' for his performances is these films, the fest believed these performances must be celebrated.
