William Justice was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He was raised in Dora, Alabama and is the son of Craig and Lana Justice. A member of the Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA) and Birmingham Metro Music Forum (BMMF), Justice comes from a family containing a history of entertainment values. His grandmother, Dora Jean Dutton, had "a voice of gold." Many of Justice's cousins were piano players. His great uncle Mike enjoyed performing Broadway show tunes on piano, and Justice's great aunt Willie Mae was the virtuoso pianist/organist at the Dora Church of God.Justice began taking piano lessons at age six and went on to win a variety of music competitions throughout the state of Alabama: Elbert Lingo competitions, sonata contests, and hymn festivals. He performed Maple Leaf Rag live on Coffee Time, a morning show that appeared on the local TV station, TV 55. Justice also won numerous awards while studying at Dora High School: The Encouragement Award, The Rick/Jilda Performing Arts Scholarship and Certificates of Honor in American Government, Psychology, and Economics. He was the sole winner of The Principal's Award for the Class of 2008. Justice was an active member of the Dora High School Drama Club beginning his sophomore year, though he had been entertaining since the 1st grade. As the school singer and piano performer, as well as the Michael Jackson impersonator during the high school pep-rallies, Justice won "Most Talented" of his senior class. At one point, he was taking Tae Kwon Do classes while he advanced with his piano studies and eventually ranked 2nd degree black belt. In the Summer of 2008, Justice received a second performing arts scholarship to study at his local community college, Bevill State. On March 29, 2009, he was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of the Two-Year College. Shortly thereafter, on April 10, 2010, he received a Bevill Scholar Award for academic achievements. These two awards opened the opportunity for Justice to study at Birmingham-Southern College, a private liberal arts college where he received his BA in "Music" on May 18, 2013. While studying music, he took elective courses in acting. As soon as he graduated, Justice immediately began studying for his MFA in the two-year "Acting for Film" program at the New York Film Academy, a bi-coastal premier art school located in New York City and Burbank. While studying, his hands-on opportunities began. He auditioned for student films where he landed roles for Best Job, Hi, Man's Best Friend, Movie Ticket, et al. He also landed a solo dancing role for a 2014 student music video entitled Cheap Sunglasses as a "Jackson Obsessionist."Justice studied acting professionally overtime in the 900-hour "Acting for Film" curriculum in the New York Film Academy's conservatory in New York City. He lived on E. 52nd St and Lexington Avenue. The credits accrued transferred into the MFA program in the Fall of 2014 in Burbank where Justice finished his master's degree in a single school year and graduated on May 23, 2015. While in Los Angeles, Justice resided at Oakwood Toluca Hills, a corporate complex known for housing celebrities. It is next door to Universal Studios, Warner Brothers Studios and in walking distance of the film academy. Justice developed his skills as a producer when he began producing his master thesis film, Artistically Certified, in which he portrays an unlicensed musical therapist. He used Oakwood Toluca Hills as his location to shoot the film. Less than a year later, as an out-of-school project, Justice produced the short comedy, Trade Off, where he portrayed an IRS secretary. He acted, directed, wrote, and completed all of the project's necessary paperwork in its entirety. He felt this was his true independent accomplishment in legitimately producing films. Justice made an attempt to SAG-AFTRA sanction the film; however, due to the film being produced and performed by the same individual, the Taft-Hartley was declined.Despite his many achievements as a piano performer, producer, music award winner, and academic superior throughout his young years, Justice had always had a passion for acting. He had had his eyes on the New York Film Academy since middle school and committed to pursue a course of study there as soon as he graduated from college in Alabama. In 2011, to begin funding for his education outside the state of Alabama, he began teaching private piano and theory at his church, the Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He taught for two years straight while continuing his studies at Birmingham-Southern. He has since then returned to Dora after graduating from the film academy's Burbank branch. In February 2016, Justice signed on with TDH Talent Unlimited based in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He has booked extra work in Atlanta for Starz' Survivor's Remorse, National Geographic's Killing Reagan, CW's The Originals, FOX's Sleepy Hollow, VH1's Daytime Divas, Rob Reiner's Shock and Awe, and Tyler's Perry's upcoming film, Acrimony. He was also a paid audience member for Lauren Lake's Paternity Court and a club patron for Netflix's Ozark. It takes Justice an estimated 3 hours to drive to Atlanta for all productions. On November 8, 2016, after a successful home video audition, Justice was contacted by P3K Production Group and told that he secured the recurring role of racist cop Officer Swanson for the second season of the web-series, T.R.A.D.E. The film is a crime drama based on a variety of topics: LGBT, racism, religion, and abuse. Justice has agreed to be submitted as a Taft-Hartley in order to acquire his union eligibility. Justice has been told throughout that he favored pop superstar Justin Timberlake. Jupiter Entertainment in Knoxville, TN contacted Justice to portray the star in an episode of National Enquirer Investigates surrounding the controversial life of Britney Spears. Similar to Atlanta, GA, Justice drove to set overnight. Continuing to reside in Birmingham, AL, Justice continues his occupation as a music instructor at Mason Music, the Homewood School of Music, and the Bailey Brothers Music Academy. He is also an independent Arbonne consultant in which he promotes cosmetic and nutritious products, specifically for actors and educators. Show less «
