William Charlton was born in Vicenza, Italy. An army brat, he grew up constantly moving, spending his teenage years in Germany. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder - where he spent 3 seasons with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival - he moved to London to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts(LAMDA).
