Movie director Wes Williams II was born on Scott's Air Force base in St. Clair County, Illinois. At five years old, his mother decided to move to Boston,MA where family was waiting. With 3 boys she had to work 3 jobs to keep them feed and clothed. While away at work, she propped Wes and his brothers in front of a T.V that acted as a babysitter. This is where Wes got his love for film and music. For hours after school he would sit and watch movies and music videos.Turn the clock forward 10 years his love and talent as a record producer landed him in Miami in front of an unknown artist at the time calling himself Rick Ross. Unfortunately, the record deal fell through and he found himself back on a plane to Boston. Devastated he turned his eye to film. He started acting and landed his first gig as a cop in Arthur Luhn's "Conned". After months gone by and not a role for the unseasoned actor he decided to take matters into his own hands and get behind the lens. His first project was a T.V mini-series titled "Boston". It lasted 6 episodes and aired on Comcast, DirecTV and RCN. He then moved on to shooting films with his first short "The Target" starring brother of Mark Wahlberg, Arthur Wahlberg. With tens of thousands of views online and a film community interested he wanted to up the game and shot "Rosie's Diner" on the RED with a crew of 10. The premiere for "Rosie's Diner" was a huge success creating a frenzy of media buzz in the northeast. Months later he began production of his first feature "District C-11" to later be picked up by Green Apple Entertainment in 2016. In 2017 he partnered with Amazon Video Central and released a gritty short film titled "Nothing To Lose" which released on the platform November of 2017. Next up for Wes is his second feature under the Camp 9 Films umbrella. An Untitled Zombie film he calls "The Hateful 8 meets "Dawn Of The Dead" slated for 2019. This ambitious filmmaker is just starting out and turning heads. Lets hope he can keep it up Show less «
