Los Angeles native, Tiffany Anders, grew up with a lust for music, seeking out bands and attending live shows at a very early age. Moving through Seattle and New York, her youthful enthusiasm led to a recording career of her own. She started singing backup for other bands before releasing her solo debut album, Funny Cry Happy Gift. The album was produced by rock icon PJ Harvey and released to critical acclaim by Up Records (alongside Built to Spill and Modest Mouse).Tiffany parlayed her passion for and knowledge of music with work as a music supervisor. Acclaimed directors Drake Doremus and James Ponsoldt sought her taste-making music supervision for films like Like Crazy, Breathe In, Equals, Smashed, The End of the Tour and The Circle. Her supervision success continued on television with hit shows like FXX's You're the Worst, Netflix's 90's-set comedy series Everything Sucks! and the lauded drama Sorry for Your Loss.Additionally, she is one of the founders and head curators of Los Angeles' annual Don't Knock the Rock film festival and has contributed in-depth liner notes for the revered reissue record label Rev-Ola, for which she's conducted interviews with Tommy James, Sweetwater, and F.J. McMahon. As testament to her musical aptitude, she also has contributed over 500 album reviews for the largest independent record store in America, Amoeba Music. Show less «
