Theo Stockman

Theo Stockman is an American actor, singer and DJ best known for his roles in Broadway musicals. He appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award winning revival of Hair and Green Day's American Idiot. He appeared Off-Broadway in Hair (Public Theater) and An Early History of Fire (New Group). International: The Bacchae (Dionysos)- awarded Best Leading Actor at the International Theatre Festival in Warsaw, 2007. Regional: Three Pinter Shorts (Williamstown). TV: "Cupid," "30 Rock." Theo was born and grew up in Boston (Brookline), Massachusetts. He started going to the A.R.T. (American Repertory Theater). The first show he ever saw was The Nutcracker when he was 7 years old. He went "to a liberal and progressive" (according to his own words) boarding school called Concord Academy, where he was able to explore experimental theater. In his senior year of high school, Stockman adapted The Perks of Being a Wallflower for the stage and directed it as part of CA's Directors Seminar. Theo graduated from NYU - Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in 2007. His time there included work at Stella Adler Studio, Experimental Theatre Wing and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam.
