From a young age, Suzanne (then Woronchak) displayed a talent for performing, landing leads in school plays and musicals, and placing in state-wide interpretive reading competitions in her home state of Michigan. After obtaining a BA in Communication from Michigan State University, she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and began a career in public relations and marketing. While in her early 20s, she started and ran her own advertising and event-marketing firm, writing and producing radio commercials and planning large scale events. Still in love with the theater, she also performed in professional theater productions, and was noticed by an agent who began representing her and sending her out on auditions. A busy career as an on-camera spokesperson and commercial voice-over talent followed, as well as acting roles in television. Her combination of writing, business and on-camera skills soon got her noticed in the entertainment news arena, and she wound up as an entertainment reporter on the popular entertainment news network, E! in Los Angeles. While there, Sena's ability to think on her feet made her a regular for the network's live events, and she became a regular on the red carpet of the major award shows, including Golden Globes, Emmys and Oscars. She also went on to host one of the network's most successful prime-time shows, Celebrity Homes (2000) and was nominated, along with her crew, for an Emmy award. While still at E!, Sena was among the few front-runners in a race to fill the shoes of Kathie Lee Gifford, co-hosting one of the country's most popular morning shows, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee (1988). Soon after, she was seen filling in on the nationally syndicated entertainment news show, Extra (1994).In 2004, Sena began to refocus her career on the news industry, and took a position with the CBS news station in Dallas, anchoring their weekend news show and writing and producing lifestyle and entertainment stories. She was then tapped by the Fox News Channel in New York, as a prime time news anchor on the international cable news station. Show less «
