Steve Saunders

He spent most of his full time working life as a design technology teacher moving from mainstream to special needs to eventually specializing in teenagers with behavioural issues.During a period of redundancy at the end of the 90s he had his first taste of the film industry as a barbarian in Gladiator using his longbow experience.Once back teaching he did a few days on a spoof "Gladiatress", different character every day! On taking early retirement from teaching, he chose to take up more of this work on a more regular basis, starting with Centurion, another hairy, beardy archery job. Most roles since have been period dramas, hairy, beardy, weirdy, dirty and still the occasional longbow. Show less «
