Steve Garfanti

Steve Garfanti was most recently starring as Rodrigo Rameriz in "Mi America" a feature film. Other credits include: Al Capone's Body Guard in Boardwalk Empire; Surgeon in "The Knick"; Mafia Cop Det Steve Caracappa in "Inside the American Mob". Steve has appeared in many Investigation Discovery crime shows playing detectives, perpetrators, and citizens.Steve was born in New York City and lives just north of Manhattan with easy access to the tri-state area for various film and television projects. Upon request he will travel globally.He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College (Nyack, NY) and holds an MBA from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY) While contemplating future goals; he decided to pursue a career in acting. Never having formally studied theatre or acting, he enrolled in Weist Barron School and Stellar Adler School, He has done scene study and improv. And has several acting coaches.As an actor, Steve is compelled by dramatic and comedic film, television and commercial projects. He firmly believes in the transformative power and story telling power of the various acting mediums of -- as a social, political, emotional, and humanistic force.
