Steve studied acting, specifically the Sanford Meisner technique, at The New School of Drama in Toronto and then The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. As well, he studied improv at The Second City. For stage, Steve produced and starred in the successful runs of The Indian Wants The Bronx by Israel Horowitz, Something Red by Tom Walmsley and then Blood, also by Walmsley after Mr. Walmsley specifically asked him to be in it. Blood then garnered a "best production" nod at the Dora Mavor Moore Awards. As for Chambers' film and TV work, he's acted along side Kevin Spacey in Casino Jack, appeared as a guest star on shows from Rookie Blue to The Murdoch Mysteries and has starred in both shorts and features. For The Corridor, Steve won the "Best Actor in a Feature Film" award at the Tulsa International Film Festival and for Mayfly, Chambers won the "Best Lead Actor in a Short Film" award at the ReelHeart International Film Festival.
