Stella Velon is an American actress, writer, and model residing in Los Angeles. Stella landed her first acting role when a modeling gig brought her to the set of Vive la vie (2005). Director Yves Fajnberg told Stella she was "a natural". She went on to train to at the Cours Viriot drama school in Paris, alongside Julien Dassin.While continuing to model, Stella simultaneously studied at the HB Studio in New York and with teachers from Yale, Tisch, and Columbia as well as Risa Bramon Garcia and Anthony Meindl in LA among others. She also holds a BA in Business Management from the University of Paris X-Nanterre and is currently developing a comedy series she wrote, inspired by her experiences as a fashion model in NYC.Velon has been told to be a chameleon, being able to transform to a point where people would hardly recognize her.A 2013 article in the 'New York Daily News' wrote that Stella "has replaced A-listers such as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Téa Leoni as the face of Di Modolo fine jewelry". The New York Times described her as a "muse" and "a lovely young woman" for her debut performance in a leading role in the independent feature Shutterbug (2009), and artistic director Robert Castle regards Ms. Velon as "one of the most outstanding young actors" he's worked with.In 2012 Stella portrayed legendary Ava Gardner in a photo and video shoot for Oribe. She was cast to play a beautiful Alien from the 1960s being deported from Planet Earth in _Men in Black 3 (2012)_. Her ethnically ambiguous looks landed her the title role of the Amazon queen in the Lost Tribe by David Field. In New York, Stella regularly took part in the annual Hearts of Gold charity fundraisers helping homeless mothers and their children, presided by Deborah Koenigsberger and hosted by Soledad O'Brien.Stella is the co-founder of _The Punk Floyd Company (2017)_ together with former super agent Jean Gabriel Kauss., of JGK Inc.
