Silvio Guindane has acting since 11 years old, starting in Como Nascem os Anjos (1996), which won him several awards, among them a "Kikito" at the Gramado festival and a "Candango" at the Brasília Festival.Silvio is one of the most present actors in the Brazilian cinema, working with filmmakers as Carlos Diegues (In Orfeu (1999), T_O Maior Amor do Mundo (2006)_, and 5x Favela, Agora por Nós Mesmos (2010) ), Ricardo Elias (De Passagem (2003)), Sergio Bianchi (Quanto Vale Ou É Por Quilo?
