Sheena Chohan is an Indian feature film, web series and theater actress. Recently, in 2021, she played a social media journalist in "City of Dreams" on Disney HotStar and soon will be seen as a PR Manager to Madhuri Dixit on the big new Netflix show, "Finding Anamika". Sheena's next series, about to be released, is a comedy drama on MX player in which she plays the lead. She also plays the part of Nadia in the Hollywood film, "Nomad".Sheena was nominated as Best Actress in the Dubai Film Festival and also at the Shanghai Film Festival, alongside Kiera Knightley and Kate Beckinsale, for her leading role in the international film, "Ant Story" aka "Piprabidya". "Ant Story" was also featured on Netflix.Born in Chandigarh and brought up in Kolkata, Sheena began acting in theater when she was at school. An actress since childhood, Sheena has acted professionally in almost 30 theater plays with eminent directors, including celebrated Indian theater director, Arvind Gaur. Sheena has since worked in Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and English language films and web series.She trained in acting and character building at one of the top acting schools in Los Angeles - The Acting Center.She made her feature film debut in "The Train", directed by national award-winning director, Jayaraj, opposite the south superstar, Mammootty. Next, Sheena shot two films with the national award-winner, Buddhadeb Dasgupta, named "Mukti" and "Patralekha" based on Rabindranath Tagore's Poems.Sheena has recently shot for the forthcoming Hollywood film "Nomad", an epic sci-fi, being shot in 27 countries and 7 continents, directed by award-winning American director, Taron Lexton.In 2019, Sheena was given the Hero Award at the United Nations in New York for her work as South Asia Ambassador for Youth For Human Rights.
