Serje Basi

Born and raised in Calgary Alberta he chose to move to Toronto in 2007 to pursue a career in acting. Before moving to Toronto he did various activities such as a brief stint with the Calgary colts(cjfl) in 2003,as well as 2 years in the Canadian military reserve medical unit. Growing up he took various arts programs such as music,drama and theatre. Always having a passion for performance he practiced it a lot,especially during class hours in which he got in alot of trouble for. In his younger years he also played AAA hockey for the 7clubs league. Later transitioning to football, he played linebacker most of high school, switching to slotback when he went semipro. Due to a bad injury he was forced to quit at the beginning of the season. Serje is also very passionate for martial arts having having practiced japanese ju-jitsu since he was 19. Since then he has trained in muay thai,kung fu,Kali,krav maga,brazlian ju-jitsu and whatever else comes his way. Since being in Toronto he had first started doing print ads,commercials and even music videos. Since 2010 he made the decision to try and focus on acting. During this time due to his martial arts background he slid into the stunt world as well. Show less «
