Rosalyn is the director of the award winning short film Allergic to Nuts (2003). 'Allergic to Nuts' written by husband and partner Craig T. Williams, has been seen on several TV stations nationally and screened in over 50 film festivals in the US and around the world. Other film director credits include: Driving Fish (2002), Drawing Angel (2007), 'Broken', 'The Starter Marriage', 'Layla's Mourning', 'What I Woudln't Give For a Good Cigar', 'Twisted', 'Ends & Beginnings', 'Three Weeks in Hell', 'Scrambled Softly', and 'Would I Lie to You'. Director of the re-enactment portion in the groundbreaking documentary Black Sorority Project: The Exodus (2006), her next directorial assignment will be the feature film Jimmie (2007), a romantic comedy written by Lorisa Bates and Craig T. Williams. A 2003 Fox Fellow Award winner, and nominated for a 2006 Barrymore Award as Best Actress for her performance in Intimate Apparel at the Philadelphia Theater Company, this busy actresses Broadway stage credits include 'Seven Guitars', 'The Piano Lesson', 'Mule Bone', and 'The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant'. Off-Broadway she starred in the world premieres of 'Whose Family Values' and 'Carson McCullers (Historically Inaccurate)' by Sarah Schulman at Playwright's Horizons/The Women's Project. Other notable New York stage credits include the critically acclaimed 'Breath Boom' directed by Marion McClinton at Playwright's Horizons and 'The Old Settler' at Primary Stages. Rosalyn has performed in new and existing plays in the countries most celebrated regional theaters. Renowned for her work ethic and her commitment to the development of new plays, Rosalyn is often asked to take part in workshops in New York's most notable theaters. Roz will return to Broadway in the spring 2007 in 'Radio Golf', August Wilson's final play. Recently wrapped playing the lead in the independent film 'Indelible', Rosalyn's film credits include: Vanilla Sky (2001), Our Song (2000), The Window (1998), The Opportunists (2000), Brown Sugar (2002), _Everyone's Depressed (2005)_ qv, _Hook'd Up (1999)_and Music of the Heart (1999). Television appearances include: Recurring roles on NBC's Kidnapped, DC on the WB and HBO's OZ. Guest starring roles on NYPD Blue, NY Undercover, Law And Order SVU and Law And Order Criminal Intent. Rosalyn was cast in and just completed shooting the television pilot 'Out of Commission'. In 2002, with her husband and partner Craig T. Williams, Rosalyn formed Red Wall Productions, a film Production Company. Rosalyn has created and directed over fifty film projects. Including industrials, promo videos, educational videos and actor demo reels. Rosalyn loves to teach. She was hand picked by Coach to the Stars Margie Haber to be the east coast representative of her world famous studio, "The greatest pleasure for me as a teacher is to facilitate the person to reach their humanity. I want my clients to leave the room knowing their personal power as a base to communicate anything that a human is capable of experiencing." Margie Haber, who has personally coached Brad Pitt, Halle Berry and Heather Locklear, trained Rosalyn to teach her Cold Reading Technique. Rosalyn has also taught at Actor's Connection, Howard University and Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Rosalyn graduated Cum Laude with a BFA from Howard University and with an MFA from Yale Drama School. At her graduation from Yale she received the prestigious Carol Dye Award, the only award given for acting. During her tenure in show business Rosalyn has worked with Meryl Streep, Angela Bassett, Charles S. Dutton, Tom Cruise, Danny Glover, Christopher Walken, Samuel L. Jackson, Delroy Lindo and Alfre Woodard. She has worked with writers August Wilson, Craig Lucas, 'Sarah Schulman' and Walter Mosley all on new projects. Directors include Lloyd Richards, Arthur Penn, Cameron Crowe, Marion McClinton, 'Phillip Rose', Israel Hicks, Oz Scott, and Wes Craven. Rosalyn has written and performed one person shows at Manhattan Class Company, Shooting Gallery and Baby Jupiter among others.
