Born and raised in upstate New York, Reid attended Syracuse University before moving to New York City to pursue his acting/writing career.Things began strongly, with roles on "All My Children", in the off-Broadway play "Cargo", and in several television commercials.Reid first came to the west coast with a leading role in the Fox pilot "With You In Spirit", where he played a character loosely based on the show's creator, Steve Levitan.Since then he has has moved back and forth between New York and Los Angeles, working consistently in television and film.He currently lives in Los Angeles.
