Born in Dublin of Dutch parents and now living in London, Peter Vollebregt is a highly versatile actor who trained in drama at Trinity College Dublin. His theatre experience includes lead roles in all the major theatres in Ireland as well as productions from Sydney, Australia to London's West-End. His versatility with accents has been used in radio drama, commercials and computer games, as well as a long list of audio books that have included James Bond titles for McMillan Publishers. His varied and extensive film and television experience, as listed, stretches back to 1984 and has taken him around the world on various productions. Peter is represented in the UK by the Polly Andrews Agency and in Ireland by the Ann Curtis Agency.In Dublin theatre Peter received particular critical acclaim as Ben in 'Who's On First', as Brad Majors in 'The Rocky Horror Show', as The Fool in 'The Cuchulain Cycle' and as Juror No.8 in '12 Angry Men', a role for which he also won The Irish Press Best Actor Award. Other Irish theatre credits include: 'Pygmalion', 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead', 'Borstal Boy', 'Torchlight and Laserbeams', 'Sweets of Sin', 'The Dracula Meditations', 'Carousel', 'Beyond Therapy', 'JFK A Musical Drama', 'The Student Prince', 'Frankly My Dear', 'A Chelsea Affair' and 'Burn This'. He made his London, West-End debut playing Mert Entwhistle in 'The Shawshank Redemption' at the Wyndham Theatre. Internationally he received particular critical acclaim as Brendan Barragh in 'A Manual of Trench Warfare' in Sydney, Australia. Apart from a huge range of commercial Voice-Over work, Peter has worked extensively in radio drama and recently played the title role in the comedy series 'Councillor O'Toole' for Channel 4 Oneword digital radio. He was the resident 'Voice' of the RTE TV quiz show 'It's Not The Answer' and his audiobook credits include the James Bond books 'Casino Royale', 'Dr.No' & 'Goldfinger' for Macmillan Publishers.
