Mike J Daugherity

Mike Daugherity grew up in Oregon in the town of The Dalles as well as Portland. He has lived all over the United States roaming around the country taking pictures, meeting great people and working with amazing souls. He went on a journey in 2012 boarded an Amtrak train in Oregon headed to Chicago. He then decides to travel in a circle around the United States by train. He made stops in New York, Washington D.C. then traveled down south to New Orleans and on through Texas to Los Angeles. He made work stops along the way, cooking, taking pictures as well as working a top the Empire State Building.Mike makes his primary residence in Los Angeles but has his heart in Portland and soul in New York.Mike J Daugherity had a dream of becoming a projectionist as a kid and that dream came true under the mentorship of Nick Feyz; he did this so for several years at the former Laemmle Sunset 5 in West Hollywood. This is where he truly fell in love with cinema. He has also worked a clerk at the famous Tower Records on Sunset Blvd. Show less «
