Michele Dominguez Greene was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. She is an American actress, singer and songwriter. She is the daughter of Roland Greene and Dorita Pallais. Her paternal grandparents are Thomas Greene and Tennessee Cochrane. When she was four months old, her father died of a sudden heart attack and the family moved to Los Angeles, California to live with her maternal grandmother, Carmen. She grew up in a bilingual household, rich with Latin culture and traditions. She studied ballet for many years, before her mother enrolled her in a junior high school drama class at Fairfax High School to overcome extreme shyness. She received a scholarship to attend the University of Southern California BFA program in theatre for four years. She studied with Louis Fantasia, James Wilson, Kate Fitzmaurice, John Blankenchip, Duncan Ross and Peggy Feury. During college, Michele began working in television and film, playing young teen roles to help pay her school expenses. Upon graduation, she landed on the Steven Bochco series, Bay City Blues (1983). Three years later, she was cast as a young lawyer, "Abigail Perkins", on the NBC series, L.A. Law (1986) for five years. She was appeared on many television shows, such as Highway to Heaven (1984), Matlock (1986), Diagnosis Murder (1993), The Dukes of Hazzard (1979), Twice in a Lifetime (1999) and Stargate SG-1 (1997). She has released two critically-acclaimed bilingual albums, "Ojo de Tiburon", released in 2002, and "Luna Roja", released in 2006 under the name, Michele Dominguez Greene. Her debut young novel, "Chasing the Jaguar", was published by Harper Collins in June 2006. Her novel, "Keep Sweet", was released by Simon & Shuster in March 2010. She is a founding member of the LA-based world music ensemble, "Sangre Sabia", as well as the primary lyricist of the band. Other members included well-known Celtic violinist Mary Barton of the Mary Barton Trio, Gilberto Morales, songwriter and engineer, who has worked extensively with producer George Massenburg, Nati Cano's Mariachi Los Camperos, Linda Ronstadt, Lyle Lovett and others.
