Michael Garland was born in Flint, Michigan and raised in the Detroit area until he moved away to attend college and get his degree. After college, Mike spent 7 1/2 years at Ft. Bragg, NC as a paratrooper in the infantry and served as security with a M.A.S.H. unit in Desert Shield/Storm in 1990/1991 in Iraq. After completing his military obligation, Mike left the military in 1994. He has been in law enforcement ever since. He decided to take up acting at the age of 48 and has appeared in several T.V. shows; Murder Calls, A Haunting, Fatal Attraction, Homicide Hunter, Killer Couples and Project Afterlife. Mike has had some good supporting roles in several independent films also. Mike is married to his wife of 28 years, Sophia, and has three children. They presently make their home in South Carolina.
