Medalion Rahimi

Medalion Rahimi was born in Los Angeles, California. She is a first generation Iranian-American with Russian ancestry. Medalion began modeling at age four, but begged her mother to instead enroll her in dance classes and in the performing arts. She started playing the piano and acting in local theatre. In 2005, she landed the role of Cha Cha de Gregorio in the Showboat Theater Company's production of "Grease: The Musical". She went on to land roles in plays like Elmer Rice's "Street Scene" (2009) and "Working" (2010), based on the book by Studs Terkel.After graduating from high school, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in theatre with a minor in English. While at university, she appeared in a production of "Medea" (2011) as well as landing the female lead in the student-written play "Georgie Peorgie" (2012). While still in school, she booked her first television role on Criminal Minds: Final Shot (2013), which lead to guest stars on other television series such as NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: The Admiral's Daughter (2014), ABC Family's Mystery Girls: Pilot (2014), and New Girl: The Last Wedding (2014). She is best known for her role as Princess Zara Al-Salim on ABC's "The Catch" (2016) and as fun-loving Elody in Before I Fall (2017). She will soon debut as another princess for ABC and Shondaland's Still Star-Crossed (2016). Show less «
