Logan Hawkes is a writer, publisher, broadcaster, videographer, voice actor, and researcher who may best be known as radio producer/host, a published author (2010, 2011), and a commercial voice actor. He is also familiar to television across the globe for a number of special guest appearances on a number of U.S. and Canadian television series and programs including the popular "Ancient Aliens" TV Series, William Shatner's "Weird or What?" series and others on the History Channel, H2 and Discovery Networks.Hawkes broadcast career stretched over 30 years and included programming of news, talk and music radio across America's West and Southwest. A noted talk show host, he served as a producer and/or host for numerous news, music and entertainment programs and also served as the host of numerous esoteric radio programs in markets ranging from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Galveston and South Padre Island, Texas, down through the years.A published fiction and non-fiction author (2010, 2011), Hawkes is also a life time member of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame and the narrator for an ongoing audio docu-series, "Ancient Mysteries of the Americas". He is also the author and producer of other history-based stories and docu-dramas.His film credits include opening narrator for the 2012 Joey Evans movie "Art of Survival". In connection with Dream River Films, Hawkes worked with film producer David Read in the creation of a film script based upon his fiction novel "Close Encounters of the old West," a work under development.Hawkes along with his wife Carla, a former stage and film actress and radio host, traveled extensively in Central America and Southern Mexico studying and writing about ancient sites and civilizations and serving the archeology community by organizing summer field schools for university students majoring in history and archeology. Much of their early work centered around preparing presentations on significant ancient sites for presentation to field school participants.The team has also owned and/or operated music clubs and live music venues in several Texas communities in support of the Texas music industry.
