Lisa Lampenelli is one of the most high-profile insult comics. Though actually born in Connecticut, she is identified as a New Yorker, where she built up her career on the stand-up comic circuit. She is known for her outrageous pot shots at celebrities as well as references to her own weight and sexuality. Her acid wit and boisterous delivery has won many fans, some of whom had gravitated towards Andrew Dice Clay, and has won her the nickname "Comedy's Lovable Queen of Mean."
