Laura Radu is a Romanian-Canadian actress/singer who's known from a very young age that she wanted to express herself through creativity. Throughout her teens, while still in Romania,she participated and won numerous singing competitions. She also became the lead singer of a band called "Unisex". At the age of 19 she moved to Canada on her own for a better life putting her dreams on hold for a while. 10 years later, her first acting class made her fall madly in love with the craft. After hundreds of hours of training with the best acting coaches in Toronto such as Lewis Baumander, Cindy Tanas, David Rotenberg to name a few, she was given a chance to shine in feature films, TV series, commercials, infomercials, short films and so on.Her first lead role was in the sitcom "Call me, Oscar" playing the wife of actor, Romaine Waite. Even though she was in her first year of acting she was cast out of 400 actresses who auditioned for the part. In the following years she's booked lead and supporting roles in projects such as "Bizarre murders", "Impulse ","300 Heads", "This was America","Le Corbeau", "Crimson Sands", "Things I do for money" and more, working with some of the best directors: Warren Sonoda, Jill Robertson,Ho Che Anderson, Fab Filippo, Gloria Yazdani, Nathan Cole and so on. Throughout her acting journey, Laura continued creating music and co wrote with the one and only music producer Dean Hajes who wrote Britney Spears hit song "I'm a slave". They've released "She belongs to the night" which has done well on all music platforms. Show less «
