Kurt Bonzell was born in the beach town of Hollywood, Florida and is a mix of Japanese, French and English. He studied acting at The Stella Adler Conservatory, and made his stage debut as Jimmy in "A Prayer for my Daughter" by Thomas Babe. Discovered doing Shakespeare scenes at the historic Boardner's bar in Hollywood, California, he then found himself cast as Guzman in a play about Cesar Chavez being produced by Martin Sheen. He had the fortune to have befriended the late John Frankenheimer, who encouraged him to engage in film as a hyphenate: act, direct, and produce. Mr. Frankenheimer had lamented the worse thing about show business is waiting for the phone to ring. We now find Kurt Bonzell doing a mixture of stage, film, and new media content. Show less «
