Joe Sobalo Jr is a bi-coastal based actor. Joe is originally from Boston, MA, but currently lives in Los Angeles. He grew in a very big Italian family. His mom Linda, a nurse and his father Joe, a carpenter were always very supportive of his choices. Joe has one sister Nicole and two nieces Gianna and Autumn. Joe grew up a lover of film and had to watch every movie the day it came out in the theatre. Joe has worked almost every kind of job since he was 13 years old. From Fast food, Construction, demolition, landscaping, painting, cable guy, salesman, and a Professional Dj. Brought up as a quiet loving kid, he was taken aback when he was bullied in middle school. Joe took up martial arts which taught him how to defend himself and be confident. He took Kung Fu, Kenpo, and then become a Krav Maga (Israeli combat instructor). He ran Cross Country in High School, and did events Javelin and shot put. Joe ran the Boston Marathon in 2011 for the New England Patriots Charitable foundation raising money for inner city kids who can't afford education. At 19, Joe went to college and did a scene from "Death of a Salesman" in class and fell in love with Acting. After getting his degree and doing many independent, student films and background work on features, his next move was an obvious choice. He moved to Los Angeles to become a full time actor and stuntman. While in LA, after a few years of moving furniture, DJ'ing tv shows, bartending, background, promo jobs, to make ends meet, he accomplished his goal. In 2015, he was able to work in film and tv full time. He has worked on hit TV shows such as, "NCIS" (CBS), "Stitchers" (CW), and "Mike and Molly," (FOX), among others.
