James Francis Andrews

James was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire on 22nd March 1984, to Derek and Rose Andrews. The third of five children, he loved acting and singing from an early age and performed in many school plays, including playing the lead role in Joseph. After leaving secondary school with 9 GCSEs, he attended Fareham College where he studied A-Levels in Art & Design, Drama & Theatre Studies and History. In 2005 he graduated from Southampton Solent University with a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Design. James then worked in an office for 6 years until he decided to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.He has appeared on stage, film and television and has been coached by the method acting expert Brian Timoney and by ALRA graduate Richard Stride at the critically acclaimed Groundlings Theatre, Portsmouth.He is also an active member of the award winning and record breaking theatrical group, the Southsea Shakespeare Actors and is studying method acting in London under the tutelage of Sam Rumbelow.
