Heidi grew up in the Chicago suburbs where she studied music and voice as a child. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Barat College in Illinois. She made her big screen debut at the Chicago International Film Festival in award-winning short film An Open Door (2006) and her feature film debut in the award-winning independent film, Farewell Darkness (2007). My goal as an actor is to leave behind something that affects people's lives and teaches them something about the human condition and our time in history. Throughout time, artists have left behind a legacy of work that has informed a good deal of what we learn about the history of our world...poets, musicians, painters, sculptors, playwrights, etc. And now filmmakers. As an actor, I believe in doing work that matters and that resonates in people's minds and hearts; giving them a gift to keep. Show less «

The moments when I'm in front of a camera or on stage and I'm fully embodying a character, so completely oblivious to anything outside that bubble of what is being created in that moment...those inspired, special glimpses of magic between myself and another actor that come alive and can never be repeated exactly the same way again...firing on all cylinders... it's so fulfilling.
