Singer-songwriter Heather Youmans is most-recently known for her appearance on "American Idol".Before being discovered at age 13 by Grammy award-winning producers, Heather performed as the opening soloist for an event headlining Sting and Natalie Cole. In years to come, she grew up in the studio alongside Grammy award-winning mixer Tom Weir and legendary, A-list session players including: Tim Pierce, Josh Freese, Matt Laug , Lance Morrison and Paul Bushnell, to name a few.In its first week at radio, Heather Youmans' debut single "Girl To Change Your World" rated in the Top100 at Mediabase on the Top40 charts! The single garnered air time on Radio Disney and several other Nation-wide Top 40 radio stations.She appeared on her first movie soundtrack with 20th Century Fox in the feature film Moondance Alexander starring Don Johnson, Kay Panabaker, Lori Loughlin & Sasha Cohen. Several of her latest songs are also featured in the feature film "Flicka 2," directed by Michael Damian and starring Clint Black and Patrick Warburton.Heather's music can be heard in "Marley and Me 2: The Puppy Years" released in August 2011. In 2016, she was featured on the soundtrack of "High Strung," which premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, releasing in theaters nationwide.On lead vocals and bass, Heather performs at Southern California venues (Kodak Theatre, Avalon, Pala Resort, Hotel Angeleno, The Study, Hotel Casa Del Mar) to enthusiastic reviews, her superiority in live performance undeniable.
