Gregory David Weisman grew up in Woodland Hills, California with his parents, younger sister and younger brother, Jon Weisman. In school, which he attended with John Elway of the Denver Broncos, Greg liked history, which was proven throughout his many works. After graduating, he moved to New York City but met with little success in the career field. He soon moved back to L.A. and got a job at D.C. Comics on the property, Capton Atom.In 1991, he was spotted by an executive at Disney, and soon began working on such shows as DuckTales (1987), Raw Toonage (1992) and Bonkers (1993). Greg's big break came in 1994, when his brand new show, Gargoyles (1994), debuted. After working on 66 of Gargoyles (1994)' episodes, he left the show and Disney when his contract was not renewed in 1996. In 1999, he was asked by Disney to work on a new show, a spin off to Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001). He has since worked on such shows as Max Steel (2001) and Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles (1999).Although all three shows did not pan out the way he would have liked, he still maintains that "Gargoyles" is his real pride and joy. Since that time, Greg has had to juggle married life with children, and his career. You can probably catch him answering questions on Station Eight's Ask Greg Forum. Show less «
