Among the actors who appeared there are George Hearn, Macon McCalman, Carrie Nye, Barbara Cason, Dixie Carter, Rita Gam and Dana Ivey. A pioneer in the regional theatre movement, Front St. Theatre produced a wide variety of dramas, comedies and musicals.
