Prior to working in football, he worked across sports such as Rugby and Rugby League and with individual Olympic athletes.Geoff was one of the first responders in the pitch-side resuscitation of Fabrice Muamba in 2012, when he suffered an on-field cardiac arrest, a true medical emergency, in which both Bolton and Tottenham medical staff received huge recognition for their response, which was credited with saving Fabrice's life.Geoff holds a Masters Degree in Orthopaedic Medicine and an MBA from Warwick University after completing a dissertation in injury predictability in footballers based on the data collected from thousands of football injuries, and has a clinical interest in using data-driven models to highlight susceptibility or prevent future injuries using objective data."
