Erik Gavica Actor/Musician.Gavica was born in Paramount, California and was raised in South Gate, just east of Los Angeles. He has been acting professionally since he was 19 yrs old.In his first ever acting gig, Erik Gavica booked a leading role in a Gus Van Sant production, "Speedway Junkie" starring Daryl Hannah. This film was produced by Randall Emmett and George Furla.Gavica made numerous guest TV appearances working alongside actors such as Tyne Daley in "Judging Amy", Anthony Lapaglia In the Jerry Bruckheimer production "Without a Trace", Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump) in "CSI NY", and with Christina Hendricks from "Mad Men" in MTV's "Undressed".Gavica also worked with Director LeVar Burton in an untitled pilot for MTV produced by Master P and on several prime time programs such as "Brothers and Sisters" with Sally Field, and "Mysterious Ways" with Adrian Pasdar and Rae Dawn Chong.Erik landed a recurring role in David E. Kelly's smash hit production, "Boston Public". He also worked on the long-running "Moesha" show with Brandy, popular cop show "Pacific Blue" with Mario Lopez, and the hit indie film "Higher Ed" with Pras from the Fugees.Gavica went on to appear in "Gotta Kick it Up!", Disney's first ever live action Latino-based film starring America Ferrara ("Ugly Betty", "Real Women Have Curves") written by Josefina Lopez. Erik also participated in Lopez' theater group, Casa 101.Recently, Erik is hot off the set of "Melissa and Joey" with Joey Lawrence and Melissa Joan Hart, as well as "Ironside" with Blair Underwood and Pablo Schreiber.Erik Gavica is currently (2013-14) working on his own project called "Strings of Steel", a short film in where he combines his talent for music with his passion for film.
