Eric Orman was born on May 18th, 1989 in Laguna Hills, CA to an engineer from Albuquerque, NM and a nurse from Grosse Pointe, MI - Mike and Christine Orman, respectively. As a young child, he was quickly pushed to sign with a talent agency but declined. Seeking a well rounded upbringing for their child, his parents instead relocated to Dallas, Texas where he actively pursued sports, music, and the arts. Shortly after graduating Lake Highlands High school he went on a national tour with his rock band, First Class Fever and gained record label interest. After a brief stint ended by various members leaving the group to pursue careers elsewhere, he returned to school and earned his BA in Theater from the University of North Texas within three years. He found himself back in L.A. after selling his belongings and lived the stereotypical life of a starving artist. While there, he juggled attending Film and Television classes while also working on Indie productions. His first appearance was a bit part for the short film '7 Day Gig" (2013). After making a quick cameo on the reality dating show "The Hook Up" (2013) he grew tired of the West Coast lifestyle. Putting his traveling shoes on again, he relocated to New York to continue acting. He has since appeared in Print Ads, worked on the feature "Holy Fire" (2015), a few theatrical shows in the Mid-West, and received praise for his portrayal of Sammy in "Pentimento" (2016).He now resides in New York, NY. My mother had a health issue at a very young age in my life. As a therapeutic event, we would watch television and movies together. Early on, I could see the beauty it held...the personal connection we all discover through story-telling; unique to each and every individual, yet collaborative in reception. While there were many different interchangeable events, this catalyst was one of my key motivators to act. Show less «

[on giving advice] It's interesting how we change roles. I would workshop my High School Theater's competitive plays, as a way to give back. It seemed like just the other day I was on the opposite side, seeking reassurance, ambitious and confused. Now, as much as I'd like to help, I've practiced feigning confidence, often as beginning as they are - avidly learning and questioning...only through trial and error can I honestly suggest solutions.
