Ella Steinbeck graduated high school early in the top 10% of her class. She worked on a pig farm until college started. On that farm, she was in charge of breeding, farrowing and processing litters. Ella went on to major in nursing to find out that chemistry is really really hard. She switched majors to sociology but ended up becoming a hairstylist with a very high profile clientele.Ms. Steinbeck moved to NYC and is now a stand-up comic, actress, humor columnist and writer of all things written. She has worked with the living legend Martin Scorsese, who she says "always has great breath" , on several projects most notably in Vinyl and is proud to say she got to work with Hal Hartley in Ned Rifle. Steinbeck has been invited to perform in many festivals and contests including Women In Comedy Festival in Boston, she was a finalist in Gilda Radner's Gilda's Laugh Off in New Jersey and Ladies Of Laughter in NYC. She also hosted the sketch and improv show Guilty Pleasures , has performed all over Las Vegas, NYC and places in between. She's been on Comedy Time TV and she was also a guest on Comedy N' More with Richie Gold on Channel 12 on Cablevision Connecticut. Ella made it onto America's Got Talent and several other reality shows that never got off the ground. Ella Studied acting at the T. Schreiber Studio and studied improv at The PIT. Directors and production staff reference her as being incredibly easy to work with. Ella has lived in 8 different states and once lived in Thailand for a month teaching English to novice monks.
