Isn't she lovely? This public figure not only knows the value of appearance but can also see where true worthiness and integrity develops. Coming from the Sparkling City by the Sea otherwise known as Corpus Christi, TX and making her new home in Austin, TX the place where her dreams became a reality. Now these dreams didn't come to life overnight, she has been working hard every step of the way. As a little girl, playing with dolls and lipstick just wasn't enough. In her elementary years of school, Diamantina had already traveled from Tennessee to Oklahoma to Louisiana on summer events including competition in theater and singing. Didn't take long for her love of entertainment to keep blossoming, as a high school student her eagerness for success ranged from sports to politics to community service. She has held positions in student council elections graduating from secretary to class president. But you can't keep this beauty tied up in the office; her athletics was shined from cross-country captain to member of the wrestling team to cheer captain. Having a clear vision of obtaining all future goals her plans for success began immediately. Jumping with both feet first she dived right in programs such as the Young Women of Excellence, Community in Schools and a nationwide program known as PALS. In the meantime of all this, recommended by her college counselor Diamantina was chosen as 1 out of 2 representatives from to Texas to participate in the Health Rocks program based in Mississippi. As a high school student she graduated in the top 5% of her class, received the Trustees Award all four years and was one of the few students in years who successfully graduated under the distinguished program. With these accomplishments under her belt she sought out and received the Youth of the Year for the Boys and Girls Club Scholarship, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and the Berkman & Lament scholarship which has served greatly in her education as a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Communications Human Relations. With these prestigious scholarships her attendance is greatly desired in the community service, luncheons and galas she has participated in as the guest speaker. During her college semesters her time is tied up with even yet another community service program which has embraced her into her culture with the Con Mi Madre program that is based at UT and she also steadily worked right outside of Austin at a car dealership receiving awards for upper level certifications and store champion. Traveling right outside our lovely home of the U.S. and being immersed in the culture of Costa Rica on a study abroad ceramics class has allowed her to grow and see the world as its true beauty that cannot be captured only in pictures! With that being said, you keep your eyes wide open for her next chapter in life you definitely don't want to miss out! Show less «
