David Haack

David Haack (pronounced Hawk) is an American actor and musician. He grew up in Iowa, where he was a graduate of Ankeny High School. This is where he was afforded multiple opportunities in different areas of performance and fell in love with it all. Acting in film was always his dream, and he participated in plays, musicals, and drama contests in High School. Music was also always a passion for David, as he grew up in a very musical family of educators who encouraged him. He began as a drummer, and picked up guitar while in college at the University of Northern Iowa on an Opera performance scholarship. He had formed his first band with some fellow jazz band friends and musicians when he was 16, and began performing in coffee-shops and bars as a solo singer/songwriter when he was 18. David continued to tour with different band collaborations through a school change to the University of Iowa, and then ultimately to a move west to Los Angeles. Since moving he has appeared in commercials, voice overs, television shows, and films as an actor, and has also had a song of his placed in a film. He continues to reside in Los Angeles, and pursue both musical and theatrical endeavors. Show less «
