David Bennett was born on October 27, 1995 in Cumberland, Maryland, a small western gateway city and seat of Allegany County, Maryland. Losing the majority of his family to drug abuse and alcoholism, he has forever vowed to live by a straight edge lifestyle, which prohibits the usage of drugs, alcohol, and smoking with a pledge of abstinence.Bennett lost his brother, Mark, who came from their father's past marriage, at the early age of 8 years old due to a heroin overdose. His brother was a musician himself, who always encouraged David to follow his dreams, no matter what anybody says. David has publicly vowed to make sure that he succeeds in making it to the top in the music industry one day.Bennett's interest in music started at a young age. He attended the Center for Career and Technical Education where he pursued an education in music production and interactive media. He has always been involved in many fields of entertainment ranging from music, acting, screenplay writing, directing and even professional wrestling.Bennett's more known for his work with his acoustic-pop band, Feelings for the Weak, alongside childhood friend, David Hammett that the two of them had started in 2013, at first going by the name of "The Double D's" until later changing their group name to Feelings for the Weak just a few weeks later.Hoping to make his work become more known to the public, David has gone all-out to make sure he gets some sort of exposure ranging from auditioning for hit television shows like The Voice and American Idol.Although an acoustic artist, Bennett's main musical influences come from the punk and pop punk subculture. Growing up, David listened to bands like Green Day, Simple Plan, Sum 41, MXPX, and The Sex Pistols. He cites Simple Plan and Green Day being the main artists who have inspired David to seriously get into the music business. Show less «
