Claudia Hruschka

Claudia was born in Melbourne, Australia. Her father is Austrian, her mother was born in Mozambique and is of Mauritian descent. When she was age 4, her family moved to Vienna for two and a half years. After returning to Melbourne at age 7, Claudia became an ensemble member at the ACTion Youth Theatre and was involved with the annual musical performances. Along with her sister, she attended a Catholic primary school and Catholic girls high school. Claudia was always involved in performing during her time at school. She went on to study drama at the National Theatre Drama school and 16th Street Actors Studio. In 2020 Claudia co-created and starred in a film that premiered at the 2021 Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF). Driven by her extreme passion for storytelling, she has featured in a variety of roles in a diverse range of films, television and theatre. Not only does Claudia enjoy the sheer energy of theatre, she also studies, practices and teaches Ashtanga yoga in both Australia and India. Show less «
