His family eventually settled in Sugar Land, Texas the summer before his junior year of high school.His first professional acting role was as Mr. Sew, in The Actor's Theatre of Houston's production of The Emperor's New Clothes. The show's director, Chris Wilson introduced him to his first talent agent, Denise Coburn of Actors Etc.
